Good Kill... did he mention a missed shift or that he let off? He fell back really fast considering how close to stayed initially. The last time that happened to me against an evo his charge pipe had come off.

I've wondered the exact same thing myself. When I got my 4.10s the car was faster from a roll as well as a dig. The only downside I've seen when racing is if I get going at speeds high enough where I have to shift into 5th gear. And that's only happened once.

It looks like OP will still get him but at first it looked like a really good race then he just dropped off like a rock. I hope the guy shows up for round 2, I want to see this happen (again).

I don't think 4.10's hurt you at all, I was saying take advantage of them getting you in the power ban faster by starting either from a dig, where he can get off the line faster, or do 20 where he can get a jump.
