Default IS NITROUS FROWNED UPON IN YOUR AREA?

I've only attended a few streetrace meets in Milpitas and Oakland but every time I go I listen in on the betting and conversations between the drivers and they always talk negatively about spray. I know it's because it gives you a huge advantage but some drivers talk as if its cheating to use it. In my opinion its a another 700 dollar mod. Seems fair game to me but I've witnessed drivers claiming they won't race a car with spray. Is this the same around the whole US?

It's pretty obvious when some uses their spray during a race (especially larger than 50 shot) so if a non spray driver says they won't race someone simply because the other car has spray (but agrees not to use it) then the unsprayed car has driver issues....

Yeah it's silly to look down on N2o. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to keep filling up the bottles and if you are you getting low you can have problems/reduced power...

Yeah it seems like it's looked down on around the bay area. But the way I look at it is like adding a turbo or a supercharger except for the much cheaper entrance fee. I think nitrous got a bad rep because of F&F.

The only guys crying about nitrous are the guys running around with a 600CID motor, turbos or superchargers. Horsepower is horsepower to me. I do hate the whole reducing the timing thing. That doesn't seam like a plus to me.

Here in the detroit area it seems like about every car runs on the ****. Hell a guy I work with has a bbc fox with 3 kits on it. People who look down on nitrous cars are usually either people who always have an excuse to not race/lose or kids who think it's anymore dangerous than any other power adder.
