something about the stock converter doesn't seem to handle it too well, but that is worth a shot.. although 1000rpm is basically idle. and that is how I launch, left foot on brake, press gas and release brake at the same time... usually get 2.0 60' my worst 60' was in the 2.3 range.

WOW.... So when I first saw this I thought you had a 3V... Thank you Mishri because I didn't even notice we were talking 5.0... ignore what I said... 12.8 should be pretty easy go with good conditions. I believe the records for stock 5.0 cars are sub 12.5... 12.3 is coming to mind
