Default axle carriers ?

I know this is not a tech section but I want you guys to see this because the other sections are slow. I'm doing a 31 spline axle build American Muscle has Ford Racing 31 spline clutch pack style carriers on clearance for about 230 Plus our forum discount I was going to try to stay away from clutch packs but this is really cheap just wondered what you guys thought about that carrier versus other carriers I don't know if I want the Ford carrier or if I should hold out and get an aftermarket what do you think?

I see the torsens say not for drag racing so thats out. I was looking at eatons but hear mixed reviews. Also say the tru tracks not sure what to get but my 28 spline carrier is on its way, its wanting to only spin one tire more and more thus why im avoiding factory style

I'd get the one with the Kevlar clutches. Ford racing makes good stuff. And the up side to that set up is it's rebuildable.

I'd get that and wouldn't run anythign else unless you exceed 6-700whp and need a spool. eaton's and what not are not necessary, expensive and noisy. I have the same diff you're thinking of running in my car, same thing is in tc's 9 second 2v.

I think I will just get the Ford carrier then. Its a hell of a price compared to the others as well.

I think (and really hope) the gears will help a lot too. And shooting 4x the nitrous should help too

You'll love that Diff and Axle set up. If you plan on taking your car to the track, you won't regret grabbing those mods. The gears will absolutely make a huge difference! I went with 4.10's in my 2004 Mach 1 and couldn't believe the difference. I fell in love with the car all over again!

Keep us posted with your build. I'm really excited to see how you do at the track!
