Default Getting a new engine

Well guys it's time to junk the stock 5.0 for something bigger. The 5.0 did good. It ran in the 10s on spray and low 12s off. I'm moving up to a fully forged 363 Dart shp short block most likely from Fordstrokers. I'm thinking somewhere in the 10.5-11 to 1 compression range. I'll reuse my 190 CC heads and run a 750 CFM dominator carb. It's slow as hell in the SS section so lets hear predictions for what the new set up will run on motor and the 200 shot? ET & MPH guesses.

9.7s at 136mph. Lol don't know enough about that engine to estimate the hp, so just a random guess!

9.8 @ 140 on 200 pill of juice
11.6 @ 125 on motor

That is going to be one badass ride BB!

Did it pop or just building another? Are you on stock internals ? How much have you been spraying it? Are they hyper pistons ?

It held together. Its stock bottom end. Pistons were also stock. I sprayed it one time with the full 200 shot and about 8 times on the 50. Never got a roll bar so couldnt go all out without getting booted.I had electrical gremlins like you wouldnt believe so sinse im going carb ill do everything all at once. New motor. Rip out all the fuel injected crap and simplify things.

Ahhhhhh why settle for a smallish 5.0 when you can have 5.9. Ask any chic they'll tell ya bigger is better.

5.0 coyote is a well engineered engine, but it has absolutely nothing on that 363 Dart. Not even in the same league.
