Damn, wish he could've just gone ahead and taken care of your tune right then and there while he had it on the dyno.

Amen. Lol. I think we have all been there.

Nope. Actually. I'm still running all the stock tables. I never picked up the wideband so I didn't change anything other than limiter and the octane tables. I pulled a tune from a Dyno tuned car and reverted the tables. Honestly I had forgotten all about it when I was talking to the tuner. He assumed I had messed with tables and I forgot exactly what was adjusted. Good times.

I was pretty bummed but it looks like it's going to gain a lot of power given I will be running at least 5 degrees more timing everywhere.

Yeah well... Funny story. We ended up with 2-3 inches of snow falling while we were there and while I'm on snow tires my buddy's supercharged srt8 was on nitto invo tires. We didn't want to drag anything out so we cut short and just decided to worry about it another day. I won't be able to go WOT for at least a month so while it will bother me it's not a big deal until end of april/may when the track opens.

Brace yourself... (I left the sheet at the shop along with my laptop..such a rush to leave)...

The numbers I have were from the video and they were STD, the SAE numbers are on the sheets. IIRC they were about 5 less than STD as the shop was pretty close to SAE Spec...(14% humidity, 66 degrees, 29.2 barro)
337/356.... AFR was going in a wave between 16 and 16.5. They stopped the run early to figure out what was going on. After a quick adjustment the AFR was just under 14 and power went to 333/352... I'm honestly surprised it's been running well at all.

that sucks man. what's causing it to be so lean? even 13's is lean for an n/a car. I would have sent your buddy home with the nitto's and stayed to iron out the issues lol.

We were about an hour from home and he's on the FD, everyone goes home.

Not sure what's up with it to be honest. My logs look perfect... I'm going to let the tuner figure out wtf is going on. I hope it's something simple... I'm starting to think the "you can run this cam on stock tune" is a bit wrong.

Oh man...what a roller coaster ride... Long story short I don't have the stock tune loaded like I thought. I did some compared in HPT tonight and discovered the tune is a combination of stock and a repo file I pulled down for a car with similar mods that had been Dyno tuned.

My injector duty cycle is hitting 100% right now (-20f, DA -5655). Thought the cold air/DA was causing it but it looks like the repo file has MAP changes. Need to pick up a wideband ASAP and get this sorted before anything breaks.

This came in today... hopefully get it on soon and figure the tune out. Supposed to snow again today so I'm waiting on the stupid weather here to improve.

Waiting for the tuner to get with me... stock tune is working a lot better.... have some power on the table though. Should be able to hit the dyno ago in May.
