well the tuner thinks I need to put the waste gate in a better place because I had a 3lbs spring in the gate with the boost controller set at 0 and made 16psi. They said it shouldn't of made that much. It should of only made around 5. As for the converter. They seen a loop on the graph. But they aren't sure if it was the converter or the tires spinning. I think it was the tires.

Just curious, What anti lag are you going to be using for launch and what stall speed will you be leaving on?

Probably just need another wastegate. Most likely isn't enough wastegate to bleed off the additional air.

Why does it seem like Turbo/Wastegate systems are like mad science? With superchargers its easy....you install X.XX" SC Pulley with Y.YY" Crank pulley and boom you get almost the exact expected boost. But everybody always seem to have to play with their wastegate/tuning to get it right with turbos. Why isn't it very predictable? I assume the custom nature of turbos would effect this some.....

another wastegate would work. But I want to save myself some money and just use the 46mm I have. Are you using one or two gates? Where are/is it located?

Ok so your not running a anti lag setup. I did use the n2mb 2 step on the neon. I gained 2/10ths on that.

Have you contacted CG to see if he's heard of anyone else running into issues with his wastegate location? If this was a one off kit I'd be more likely to believe the location but a lot of guys run this hotside and I haven't seen anyone with an overboost issue.

I run one but I've had boost creep since I finished my build. I really need to just put a 2nd gate on it I'm pretty sure. I haven't really pulled the gate apart to make sure its working properly, but I'm pretty sure its just a matter of needing to vent more air than my RG45 is capable of.

I emailed him, just waiting on a reply. But I think a second gate is needed.
