So my cousin has a 69' Maverick with a 3 speed auto and 2.90's. His motor is 302 out of an old 89' fox body, "just a cam, 1.6 roller rockers, electronic ignition and a Weiand dual plane intake and a 600 Holley. (Basically stock) breathing through hooker long tube headers, 2 1/2" H-pipe and stainless magma flow mufflers." Unknown miles but he says it's old and dying, literally. His car weighs in at an estimated 2900-3100 lbs. he has a rebuild kit coming in soon but with some upgrades of course. We'll run em before the rebuild and after. I gave him a ride in my Bullitt but he seems to think he can take me. Thoughts?

i had a maverick grabber once apon a time and weighed it on a truck scale. It weighed in at 2880 so your probably giving up about 500 pounds to him. Could be close for you.

your bullet should run 14ish. He's got a semi built 302, I think he could take you but I think it would be close

Ya, blue I feel you 500lb guess is pretty accurate. I had mine weighed at a truck scale as well after the IRS swap. I don't remember exactly but I believe I was around 34xxlb. The weight advantage is my biggest concern.
