Well this weekend I'm hoping to find the time to meet up with an old buddy and run his h/c TA. We ran a couple summers ago when I first got my cobra and it was a damn good race, but I'd give his car the edge as for the most part he was ahead on the roll race. Dig race I got him good just with the tire edge. Since we've ran I did my straight axle which dropped ~100lbs and went from 3.55's to 3.73's. did my ported blower/lower pulley, etc. I'm hoping to be able to put a solid car on him now if not more. Anybody willing to make a few guesses?

for comparison sake here's the vids from our last race. And his mods are si5 cam 231/237 .589/.595 112lsa, livernois ported 243's, ls6 intake, normal bolt ons, 6speed car with stock 10 bolt and 4.11's with a 555r.

He hasn't done anything since the first race? I'm going to venture out and say 2 cars. How fast are you going up to?

As far as I know he hasn't done anything. He has a 3rd gen he has a crazy amount of money that's his toy car, this is just his cruiser. I'd be happy with 2 cars. As far as speed who knows, prolly just 130 or so, when we reach the top of 4th.

2 lengths sounds reasonable. You added power and dropped weight. Good things always happen when you do that. Getting videos?

Yeah there'll be vids for sure! also if I dont have a passenger I'll have another 150 lbs on him over last time. As he was by himself(he's a big guy and weighs all of 300), I had myself and a passenger but hoping this time it can just be me .

What were your mods when you first raced him?

basically just a 2.76 upper, cai, midpipe/catback and a mail order tune. stock driveline/rear end/weight.

Colin, did you have a good tune at that time when you raced him? So is this going down, or still don't know yet?

tune was pretty damn good, it's the one I had when I ran my 11.46 with traps in the 122-123 area.

Looks like it's not happening now, not this weekend anyways. saposed to rain tomorrow so I believe he drove his truck up instead of the t/a. sucks!
