If a set of forged internals aren't gonna bother you then replacing the rear for a 12bolt or 9" shouldn't either haha. If you dont track it you should be ok with the stock trans and rear tho. MRTstang makes lower 500's on his with a stock trans and rear with a good clutch and 4.10's.

lol it'll bother me if I launch it on slicks and snap an axle to tear out the rear end at the track
