155 in the quarter mile in my '89 LX. I think my 2011 would top out around 200. I'm itching to try that sometime. I'll test it with GPS.

Yes, I should hang my head in shame. As soon as it gets warm and I put new shoes on it will be time to let her stretch a bit.

Did an indicated 145 MPH on the back straight at Road Atlanta in my '95 Firebird Formula. It had a complete suspension upgrade and made about 415 naturally aspirated HP. This was back in 1999.

Did you tune the top speed limiter out of it? I have a 3.7 and would like to know it's top speed but I bought my car used and who every changed the limiter switched it from 115 to 130. It gets up to 130 fairly quickly!

I guess I should count myself lucky to live in the boonies. Lots of straight highways out here.

No I did not, I havent been much over 100mph for quite some time. I'm not a top end driver. Usually I'm still in 3rd gear when I shut it down @100mph LOL

Yes I do. I like to live on the wild side. LOL The stock piece has held up fine so far. The only mods to the car are a unknown tune and a CAI.

1993 Mazda RX-7 180
2005 Dodge SRT-4 160
2008 Mustang GT 140
2009 Dodge Charger RT 160
2013 Dodge Charger RT 160

In all the years and cars I have owned, it's fun ( scary) going anything over 150. It's not always how fast you're going but more often, how fast you get there.

My modded '13 Charger RT AWD can hit 0-60 in 4.1/4.3 seconds in 0 degree weather up here in the winter and clear/dry streets. I have much more fun doing that over high speed runs any day of the week. Screw the 1/4 mile, once I get it down to the 3.5 mark consistently, I have no reason to mod anymore. Might not be the quickest car at the track but from 0-60 I'll take on anything lol
