Gotta luv LS1 powah...........Geez!

So, 273s are the standard auto gear and the 323s are the option? Did any autos come with the 3.42s?
Did the 6m come with 323s and the 342s optional?
......The last F bodies I've had were 79 Z28 and Trans Am.....Many, many years ago.

The 3.23s are standard on the SS automatics and WS6 Automatics, manual cars got 3.42s. The 2.73s are standard in all other automatics with an LS1 (Z28). Hard to believe the old cars are still competitive with today's performance.

I have 3.23 oddly enough. The 3.42's are a Posi while the 2.73 and 3.23's are open diffs?

Me too......I need to hit a test and tune and see how much of a difference these big **** back tires will make. It's substantial on the street. Sorry to beat a dead horse, but should these 888s being a road course tire be heated up or just spun to get crap off?
