Default new hp numbers, now what's she gonna run?!

Had my car on the dyno over the weekend, and our track day is next saturday(weather permitting). I'm curious what I'm going to run. As everyone knows already I've got a kb 2.8. Still stock ex manifolds and longblock. I converted it to e85, made ~22 pounds of boost but didn't put much timing in it(18 degrees). On to the numbers............722/628! That's also with it blowing out spark up top. I've since put fresh plugs in it gapping them tighter which will hopefully cure that.

Last year at 650/540 I went an 11.0@129 with lots of room left to go with a better launch/shifts. I'm just hoping for a 10.9x @ 13x next saturday tho. I'm on big n littles now but with 5 year old et street radials out back so they dont have the best traction. Cant wait to actually get to the track and try everything out. If it rains I swear to the heavens I will make a pass anyways!

Here's a vid and a graph...

With that kind of power it should be a 9 second car. With that said the tires don't sound promising so I'll say 10.7@135. The trap speed is gonna be sick.

Yeah I think the power is there for a 9.99 some day. I just think it'd take a perfect launch and really rowing the gears perfect which I'm not the best at. I'd be very happy with that time blue.

I can't even fathom a guess as it's way out of my track knowledge at that level.

Congrats though, will we at least get a video of your mid 10 pass ?

I can't believe I actually raced that car. I think 10s are in the bag, even if you half *** launch it. 9 second capable, but gotta get your tires right first. 139 mph trap?? Good God man.

Yeah and you actually beat me you son of a bitch. lol. I think it'd take a true slick and a perfect pass to go 9's. Cant wait to get out to the track!

Maybe, and I know you're not one for excuses, but you needed some tweeking on the tune....at any rate, it appears as if that "win" was/will be the last for awhile. Once I get what I want done to this current project, we shall revisit said race!

9s are a tough number unless you roll the car off a trailer. But its there for sure. Has TC requested a run from you yet, lol?

Yeah he has but we both know he's still going to win. Whether its at the track or on the highway. He only made 20 more whp than me but that turbo/auto combo is going to be next to impossible for me to beat.

I can't get over the TQ. 2500 RPM and sitting at over 500 already. I know TC has a fast set up, but it should still be a fun race. At least do it so we can watch and hear both cars at work.
