Default Doing big things with a tranny

Friggin pumped finally time. I have been so busy with life and work i havent had time to do anything with the car. It's been on the road twice this year for about 10 mins each time.

Dropping it off at a local speed shop i deal with at work a lot who cut me a deal on labor i couldn't pass. Front brakes are so toast i hate even driving the damn thing right now. So it'll be dropped off in the AM and I'll pick it up after work then its right back into the barn and being torn apart for the UPR front end and coil overs as well as finishing the line lock, getting rid of my nozzle for the plate and an intake spacer and brakes all around. If Mickey Thompson could get it together ill have tires for my dragstars soon but everything i want is on backorder.

Hopefully the converter and 4.10s i got last season work well with eachother. 12's on motor or i burn it down lol

Congrats man

What stall?

I hate when life gets in the way of modding my cars, like, don't they know I have more important stuff to do?

It's a circle d pro series multi disc. 245mm 3c with a 3500-3700 stall range. Should give it the kick in the *** it needs to get the 60' down hopefully

Easy 12's, as in light goes green, right foot planted, vision blurs from the G's, 12.5 seconds later let off the gas and apply the brakes. DONE......I'll congratulate you now. Well done on your 12 sec. street car.

When will the first runs happen ? Looks like another cool summer up here so DA should be good.

Well, the squealing brakes have me wanting to rip my hair out so i would like to tear it right down for the front end/coil overs/brakes. But i might just run my buddies G8 GT that goes higher 12's to see where its at once. Pumped, hopefully this is what it needed to get out of the hole.

Yep, what Orangepeel said!! Congrats sir, 12s are in the bag. Nice choice on that stall too, she ought to work well and last a long while. Assuming it's a nitrous converter?

If it doesn't get in the 12's it's time to check the disconnect switch between the driver and the car!

Haha I've got 100+ passes on the car and had gotten it from 13.80's to 13.40s with no changes other than driving and tire pressure etc. and that was just a drop in filter, catback drag radials and tune. I know what the car likes it just isnt performing right now. I'm on a nitrous tune right now so hopefully thats part of my issue. I did discuss it with Chris before ordering the converter and that is what he had suggested.

Congrats on the Converter!

I never liked those leather boot shift covers for the auto because when dropping of manually shifting gears, I always worry I'll upshift into Neutral or Reverse lol
