06 539 RWHP GTO vs My 524 RWHP Stang
Hopefully this will happen because I really wanna see what she'll do. Went to the dealership today to get a new drive shaft installed on my car. As I'm leaving, one of the mechanics from the back stops me and tells me that his buddy saw my car around and wants to give me a run. He said his pardner has a 06 GTO putting down 539 to the rear wheels. Seems as though this will be a good run. What do you guys think?

Kinda what I figured Blue. Evidently the guy works off shore so when he gets bk next month we'll see if he still wants to run. Kinda good for me. I'm going to install a meth injection kit on my car next month and will be hoping for 550 or so to the wheels. I'll most def get it on vid guys. Those GTOs have the LS2 engine correct? How long do you guys think I can hold him off? I'm thinking (if he can drive) he'll start pulling on me at about 120 or so.

I think it depends on what he is using to make that power. If he is getting it via maggie charger, I think he'll pull ya. The instant TQ and flat curve on those set-ups are nasty. If its nitrous, same deal. But if he's running a centri, I'd imagine your weight advantage should give you the edge...its really hard to say without knowing his exact set-up. Dyno numbers really don't mean squat.
