Default Buddy retired bought a 16 Stingray

Hey guys a padner of mine just retired last month and for his years of sacrifice he bought a 16 Stingray. He went from a 92 Camaro RS (305) to this, so he's thinking this thing is a Concorde on 4 wheels. I was waiting on the text or phone call and after a month I received the talking smack text this morning. So what do you guys think? Any of you guys ever race one?

Never raced one or seen one at the track (haven't been to the track in years actually)...but I like your chances. Does he possibly have the Z06? Because if its the standard C7 then I don't think it will be that close unless you miss some shifts.

Those things look sweet too from all angles especially rear three quarters..just like the C6 they're replacing.

These are the higher trim levels but still the body lines are about the same:

+1 ^^^

I've never been a Corvette fan, but the new ones sure look nice from any angle. Now, I grew up watching the original "Speed Racer" cartoon, and they remind me of the Mach 5. So maybe that explains it lol.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. You make about 100 more RWHP.

Awesome looking Corvette.

For the price I'd stick with Mustang. Best bang for the buck.

Corvettes are very cool. Any car guy should own one in their lifetime. With that said they are very beatable stock or minor bolt-ons! Look out for the heavily modded ones. But that goes for any car.
