Default 14 GT500

Got a text today from a padner of mine and he told me that he had just purchased a 14 GT500. Sent me a picture and I gotta say it's a beautiful car! Then the smack talking begins. He said he wants to put a whipping on the lil ol 2V (his exact words). Didn't ask but I think its stock. So why do you guys think?

My 14 stock put 585 @ the tire, & if he has the stock rubber he has NO traction.
Your car should weigh less, would be a good race.
Might be a different story from a roll.

I think he's got the advantage unless your #'s in your sig are outdated. Even though they weigh more, hose cars make more torque.

Would you guys do a roll or dig race? Because the dig would be your best bet.

Yeah guys I'm thinking the same thing. My strong point will probably be from a dig. I figure if I can get off pretty good I may be able to hold him for a while. I saw a couple vids on YouTube last night. Those cars seem to have a issue with traction but damn when they hook, they hook!

If you can out hook him you should be ok depending on how far y'all run. If he half way hooks, he should pull on you pretty good. I wouldn't let it bother you though, those gt500s are nasty..and should be for the price.

If he's smart he won't race you from a dig. From a roll you will have your hands full.

OX are you able to get off cleanly with the 410s?

Absolutely not........ever

Even when I switched to the 315 R-888s 1st gear is pretty much useless and I'm putting out over 100 ponies less than the 13/14s

Geez, cold really makes a difference. I had a short rolling sprint with a Vette. 2nd gear even broke loose in this cold. Warmer weather and the new tires are good in 2nd. Yes, I still managed to take him by a wee bit on a short run after the tires finally grabbed
