So my buddy got his car pretty much finished now, its now got a 4L80, new converter, Ford 9" and a new cam. Before he was making 600+ w/ a 3lb spring he now has a 5lb spring i believe. My cars been down for a year so im looking for any races now win or lose lol i just want to run some cars. Plus i ran this car back when it was still an ls1. He agreed to an 1/8th mile dig. I imagine itll be ugly if it hooks. Lets hear some guesses as to how bad. I've only ever seen the car run from a roll last season so i have ho idea how quick will move but it was no slouch with an NA cam and converter.

lol, yea I'm hoping it takes a second for the thing to get into boost and maybe some wheel spin lol. When he broke the car last year it was right around the 1/8th and i think it still went like 12.7x @ 120+ lol





Thanks, stock motor on 100 shot, 3700 stall converter, tubular front end, rear suspension. Typical bolt on stuff. Your car should be mean thats a healthy shot.

You may stay close through the first 330' or so but he's obviously going to run away. He should be mid 6s or faster through the 1/8th.

Explosive, I think it would be a tight race with you on the 100 shot and me n/a. Have you ran it at the track on nitrous? I'm sure you'd pull me from a dig, but from a roll it would be interesting

I agree I think you on motor and me on spray would be good. We could do a dig and a roll if you want. I got a good spot a little west of us that is good for daytime runs.

As for the car above stone yes I figure I'll take him out of the hole and then he'll come by like a run away train lol

My buddy with the g8 wanted to try getting into some racing video stuff so expect a good daytime video of that run. His car sounds amazing. Nothing but turbo lol

Sounds good man. My car will be getting aligned Thursday then I'll work on the tune so it'll be at least a couple weeks till mine Is ready

BTW, if your buddy in the green Camaro is down for a roll race I'd be game. I'm sure he'd get me on the 5lb setup vs my 150 shot, but I might put up a bit of a fight. I can't hook at all under 50 mph, so it would have to start a little above there lol
