Default Tuning gurus please advise

K I just got an sct x3 in the mail and I am looking at spark advance in certain rpm ranges. I have a the usual bolt ons and I am wondering what I should do to these. If anyone can chime in as to what they did and what gains they got that would be great. I am also running a 125 zex shot. Thank you

Sir you really need to educate yourself more about tuning. I am not trying to scary but you could cause some serious damage to your engine especially when dealing with pills.(N2O)

Agreed. I would imagine the tunes you got are already optimized for your set up, dont go adjusting until you are confident in the changes you are making and why you are making them.

K mike you are the guru to train me. I have the sct canned tunes and live in saskatoon sask. What should I start playing with first as far as any of the variables like sea level and air temp. Please teach me mike. Or copy and paste and send to my email. Doesn't even have to be for my car in particular, just cause and effect, and so on. Email me a book on it so I can expand my knowledge. I have been a carpenter for 20 years and hurt my back and now have to re-educate for a new career. I plan on maybe being a mechanic or something in the field of building fast cars or something. Please teach me something.everettmorash@yahoo.ca. Inbox me. Please

Yikes. Thats a huge request man. There is tons of info on tuning theory and basic spark/fuel info on the web, Google is your friend

On these cars, you can not adjust anything blindly.
you should datalog the car, see what it is doing, and then use the logs to determine what changes need to be made to the tune. A wideband is a must for fueling adjustments, otherwise you have no idea where you are starting, or which way to go.

keep in mind a wideband or a dyno is nothing more than a tool to aid in tuning. actual tuning is done by reading your plugs and running down the track
