First of all I have no idea who these people are on hear everyone says oh how great the sct tuners from American muscle are . I put one of these on my car and had so many issues car kept stalling and then after messing around win it got it working again the rpm's kept jumping around . So I decided to put the stock tune back on and the the dam thing corrupted my stock file now my engine runs so hard and crappy . I have a appointment on monday hopefully it won't cost me a ridicules amount of money to fix. I say the hell with the custome tuners don't buy stay away from .people need to post real threads in hear not salesmen trying to promote their crappy products .

well im sorry that happened...but you either fed them some false information, or you are like the unlucky >1%. They are a good company and im sure there are only a handful of people on this site that would disagree. You're lucky they've got good customer service

OP,

I'm terribly sorry to see another thread regarding this same issue from you. As stated in my other thread(which you will see I did not once try to promote or sell anything to you, nor do I ever do that, really) I am more than willing to help. However, as stated in your other thread I need more information.

What year and model is your car?
What modifications do you have?
What tune are you running?
Did your Check Engine Light come on?
Have you ever tuned or used a hand-held tuner on a car before?
Did you contact our Tuning Specialists regarding your issue?
What is your order number?

Please get back to me with this information. I would love to help you and get this straightened out for you so that you can see tuners are very worthwhile and positive investment in your vehicle.

PM'ing me is the quickest way to get a response, so please feel free to PM me directly. However, I will be keeping an eye on this.

Have a great afternoon!

Can you be more specific? When exactly did these problems start? Right after you got the tune setup and the car started, or a little later on? Do the persist throughout your drives, or are they intermittent? What do you mean "messing around with it", the tune is practically plug-and-play, you should not have to mess with it to get optimal performance.

It's a 2010 v6 mustang 4.o with manual the only upgrade I have is a jlt cold air intake called am on Saturday the customer service rep was not helpful at all I tried to explain to him what was going on and he told me it might be a air leak some where so I found the leak and fixed it went out on a test drive didn't stall this time but the rpm was all over the place when I would go from 45 mph and drop the clutch to come to a stop the rpm would drop down to 600 rpm and the jump back up to 900rpm once I came to a stop . Didn't have a cel light stay on but it would come in an out and their was burning smell coming from the engine. Called customer service again and they were closed the guy didn't bother to tell me that they were closing soon . So I decided to return everything to stock once even loaded the stock tune after I did this the car feels like its getting to much air but the mass air flow sensor doesn't go off but the car feels like if I were running it in redline all the time .
