Hey fellas I need your knowledge as I haven't found a direct answer for 1 hour searching. This guy has an SCT SF3 tuner part number S2A3025OR that he had on this 6.4L diesel ford truck. He's selling it for $200. I'm pretty sure it would work just fine for my 2006 mustang 4.0L. I'm just wondering if SCT would charge me to change the software over to mustang or anything like that? He doesn't have the free tunes for life, but he said it is for sure unlocked. What would you guys do? So I spend $200 for 3 canned tunes + if there's a cost to change the software? Or should I just wait for one of you bums to sell me one? Hahaha, lend me your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

$200 for the tuner +$100 for custom tunes i would jump on it. SCT will not charge you but whoever you buy tunes from will (VMP, Bama, etc)

Well if that's the case it costs $150 from AmericanMuscle.com for 3 custom Bama tunes. So I'm looking at $350 for 3 custom tunes with no "free tunes for life". DAMN I thought I found a deal.

Im pretty sure when you buy the 3 tunes. For those without free tunes for life. It automatically signs you up for it. Just re read their site and come back to confirm.
