I'll be getting an SCT X3 tuner from Brenspeed next week for my V6. I understand it can read diagnostic codes. Can I use that feature on my Dodge Caliber? Of course I can't tune the Caliber with it, but I'm hoping I can avoid buying another code reader.

I am not entirely sure but I would guess no, just for the fact that they sync with the car when you plug them in the first time.

generally the diagnostic functions work on any supported vehicle, not just the one it is married to...no harm in trying
