Default 2014 Mustang 3.7L with CAI + Axle Back

Hello!
I have a 2014 Mustang 3.7L AUTOMATIC Convertible.

I first installed the AIRAID CAI (MXP) Synthamax an noticed a nice growl under throttle and felt quicker throttle response and Mustang seemed to "move out" better. Nice upgrade.

Then, I installed the MBRP axle back exhaust. Like the sound, but I seem to have lost some backpressure and low-end power since the O.D. pipes of the MBRP axle back are 2.5" vs 2.25" stock. Now the Mustang needs more gas pedal push to get moving and feels more "sluggish" from a stop. Once its going, or at WOT, it screams!

Will a TUNE help regain my lost low-end power? What can I expect from a 91 octane tune?

I have been using 91 octane since day 1 of ownership (we don't have 93 octane here in Las Vegas) and I plan to always use 91 octane.

THANKS!!

A tune will help for sure!

A good 91 octane tune should add a solid 15 rwhp, and 15-20 ft/lbs, maybe even more from custom tuning

You'll also notice better throttle response and improved shifting performance from your A6.

What tuner would I be looking at that you offer?
Would these be a preloaded tune(s) that come with the tuner taking into account what MODS I have done to the Mustang?

You mentioned a Custom Tune as well. How would that be done?

Thanks!

SCT tuners by far are some of the best. You have a few options for tunes Diablo Sport and Bama both have great tunes. Or you can take it to a shop that knows how to write custom tunes. Just make sure they know Mustangs or I would not trust them to mess with my computer.

Either our inTune or Trinity will work for you.
The preloaded tunes would work, but for the best results, a custom tune would help dial everything in. Bama sells both tuners with free custom tunes for life
