Nittos are crap, you have to rape them to get them sticky. Kevin had them on his Mach 1, absoloute garbage. The ones on my TA are crap, ask rich and jeff when we did our less than legal joy ride... 20mph punch is 1st gear spin, shift to 2nd spin through 2nd, finally catch traction in 3rd gear. I would only get these if you are going to DD the car and put a lot of miles on and have a separate set for the track (like i do)
Mickeys are more of a track only tire. They pick up every rock on the street and proceed to blast them against your paint or punch a hole in the tire. They are a lot of tire and for the street they arnt needed unless your 400+ HP IMO. They would be a good track tire if you had an extra set of street tires for the street.
BFG's... this would be my pick, they are the common ground between mickeys and nittos for the street. They grip well and are not expesive. Also, gorman, chuck and all of them use BFG drag radials and are all 600+ rwhp cars. So if it works for them im sure it will work well for any of us.
