Well I don't listen to rap much either, although I will occasionally, but big bass speakers doesn't mean, boooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, it's all in how you set them up, mine can sound booooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, or it can make a good bump sound for rock, trust me, bass really helps bring out your lows and highs when it comes to rock, because all the base goes to the bass speakers and you highs stay in your interior speakers, which alots for some excellent sound quality, you just have to set or tune them right.
