Default A little V6 bench racing......

My buddy brought his V6 up to school and we were headed to the track today but we got rained out. Its a 99 V6 5sp with a CAI, Predator tuner, short throw shifter, 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears. Heres the "slow down" part... its a vert and has a Saleen body kit with a "mach 2" hood. Not sure if the body kit and hood hurt or help. I am just wondering what u guys think a good 1/8th time would be for this. We were going to match him up with my friends 95 GT 5.0 Auto (stock) and see what happened. Guess we will have to wait till next tues

95 5.0L AUTO.......... ha............. a 99-04 V6 5 speed with a damn good driver can beat one of those stock, I'm betting he'll win by a pretty decent margin.

I think the saleen bodykit helps cut the air better but the hood wont help but I think it will be a drivers race

Yea they are pigs compared to 99-04. Never raced a 5.0 SN95 though, but my very first race was me in my new at the time 02 V6 5-speed bone stock vs. my friends 98 GT auto vert w/ crappy exhaust and cheapo ebay CAI. Took him by ~1 car.
