Cant rev pass 4k after drifting
Alright so I decided to drift out my fully stock 2004 mustang today. Since i cant do the kick clutch method I just burn out and i can start drifting. But anyways after I was done I now cant rev passed 4k rpm even when in neutral i step on the gas and i cant rev passed 4k rpm. The engine temp was in the middle so I have no clue why it was doing it. Any ideas? Is there a safety mechanism of some sort?
And is it a bad idea to drift my stang?

^^^^See what doing totally stupid and pointless things do. Honestly dude, I have no idea, because there are so many things that you could of just screwed up, it's not even funny. If the problem persist, take it to a shop and have them run an ecu diagnostic to see if it's just a bad sensor or fuse, if not, then congratulations, you just bought yourself either a new tranny, rear end, or something else. Not trying to be an A hole or anything, but doing such pointless things is just beyond me.
