Default 1997 Ford Mustang Questions...

Hey guys I am new here and I have just aquiered a Stang from a buddy of mine for $1000. Now there is some body damage and possibly a bent tie-rod but that's besides the point right now. My first question is, How can I fix the odometer? It has stopped reading he said it went out about a month ago when he got a new transmission and I would really like to get it working again. (It's not the digital) Second question deals with the cruise control, it does not work either and has not worked for sometime and was wondering if that could possibly be a fuse blown or something along those line? And my final question is, has any heard of these performance chips? (Click Here) If so are they any good? They seem to according to the feedback of the seller.

Oh one more thing what are the best HID lights that I can get that work with the factory plugs? I got the APC ones yesterday and I must say I am disappointed.

Thanks in advance guys, looking foward to spending alot of time here

-Kyle

Also what are your guys opinions on Yellow light bulbs? Are they any good? I found some 3000k ones on eBay just wanted to know how they look at night (ie: reflection, visibility on the road on a clear night and rainy night) thanks again... Hopefully I can get some answers to my first post

I have had the same problem with my Cruise control and the fix was the little plastic switch on the brake peddle was not assembled correctly. Not the one to the brake lights. Mine looks like a white plastic tube and if it's not assembled right the cc thinks your braking and won't turn it on. You may want to check the wiring to your trans. to find your odometer problem.

I found these on eBay are they pretty good? Remember I am not getting a HID kit just the brighter lights.

It's only $10 so why not try it (chip)? I am gonna get those headlights, only $17 shipped seem like a good pair. Anything is better than those 4000k APC bulbs I got :/
