a local body shop should be able to quote you on the stripes, whether you go vinyl or actual paint. ive always liked the actual paint, when it is done crrectly, nothing looks better. the hood scoop in black would be tight as well...stick to the red on balck theme, and maybe some red inserts in the interior (not TOO much....dont go fast anf furious...just a couple of nice toughes...maybe a red shifter, red stang floormats, something like that, if your interior is mostly black)..much, much potential.

and then when ya get the car looking its best, delve nto that engine. here is the best place to learn about that too!

Thanks everyone, you've been a big help. It sounds like the Red/Black theme will look pretty nice.

Black stripes with the black hood scoop should look pretty mean, so that will probably be the firsttwo thingsI do to it.

Well DOUT she will approve my friend but you know how it is said them BOYS AND THERE CARS.

_ I say go with the BLACK AND RED THEME i mean a lot of people do it but it looks awsome.

- 18x9 BLACK and or the 18x10 Deep Dish on back or you can also do Both front and back DEEP Dish and that looks awsome
- Black out tail lights

- Gt front Grill with dual lights
- Styling bar (roll bar)

Well, I showed her some pictures of the black out panel on the back, but she hated it... she liked just the black tail light covers though...

Although, it IS my car, so her opinion may not matter too much when i go about fixing it up, lol.

a teacher at my school has that same stang with black stripes...it looks hella clean, easily the sickest car a teacher drives at my school.

My friend has an 06 vert GT black with black top and red stripes with red interior and Black 18" Bullits. The black and red combo on the new Stangs looks really good I think. She is pretty hot too so it makes it even better. lol The only bad thing about it is she has red underglow...[&o]It doesn't look to bad but I don't like underglow on the new Mustangs.

yup or you could always go with the Red and White Stripes with some chrome wheels that would look nice to BLACK looks BAD *** chrome looks more Slick

I think I'll stick to the black stripes, since I don't think white stripes would look okay with a black convertible top, heh.
