what do 3.73 gears do

RE: what do 3.73 gears do
It's like the gearing on the back of your bike. When you go to a smaller gear on the rear wheel, you don't have to turn your peddles as fast to move the rear tire as much.
The same idea translated to your car. .... but the number is a representation of the rear axle's gear as a raito (3.27:1).Going from yourstock 3.27 gear to a 3.73 or 4.10 gear will turn over the rear wheels a lot quicker when you accelerate.

Well all the stuff you need will be about 550-600 dollars plus the install which is anywhere from 200-400 I believe make sure you shop around. You usually want a shop that you trust to do the work for you, but if your friends are pretty good with cars and know what they are doing i dont see why they wouldnt be able to do it
