Default Just bought an '01 3.8l v6 engine...

Gonna use it to build then when I'm done I'm gonna drop it in my car...
I just bought a cam for my car...
Can't think of the specs off the top of my head...
They're floatin around in a post here somewhere...
But I wanna buy forged internals and a 4.2l stroker kit,
and p&p the heads and intake...
Would my cam still work for a 4.2 or would I have to buy a new cam?
Thanks,

-Coop

The cam will work...

Will it be the best for your application, that will have to be determined later.

Aight cool...
Thanks guys...
Yeah...
If anyone knows wut cam would be best for that setup lemme know...
I plan on EVENTUALLY puttin on a blower too...
But that's in the FAR FAR future...
Gonna just run stroked and cammed until i save up about 7-8k and can afford to do it right...
Thanks again,

That cam should be pretty good when combined with a blower. Depending on what blower you are putting on and how much boost you're planning on running it might be a bit small.

Agreed, from the specs listed, not a radical cam or anything, but should perform and sound sweet with a decent setup!!
