what are some common upgrades when rebuilding a tierd 2.3? web sites and prices would help.

JUST TAKE THE ENGINE OUT OF THE CAR. TEAR IT DOWN AND HAVE IT PROFESSIONALLY MACHINED BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS FORD 4-CYLINDER MOTORS. THEN ORDER A FORGED CRANK, H-BEAM RODS, FORGED FLAT-TOP PISTONS, AND A REALLY LIGHT VALVETRAIN WITH ALL THE GIRDLES THAT GOD HAS ALLOWED TO BE MANUFACTURED. THEN SLAP ON A BIG TURBO AND AN EVEN BIGGER INTERCOOLER AND RE-INSTALL THE MOTOR. THEN

HANG ON CAUSE THAT STOCK 4-CYLINDER CHASSIS ISN'T GONNA KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WHEN 400HP IS UNLEASHED ON IT. THE APPROXIMATE COST OF THE MOTOR & CUSTOM TURBO SETUP IS $3500 ASSUMING THAT YOU DO THE ASSMEBLY YOURSELF. YOU CAN VIEW A SIMULAR ENGINE BUILDUP AT WWW.BRUCEHUBBARD.COM.

400 horses for the 'stang chassis is nothing, compared to what many guys are running.
