Default High Oil pressure

I have high oil pressure on my 95. Right now its around "A" on "Normal", it goes even higher when the A/C is on. I am a little worried because over the last year the gauge has gone from "RM" to "A". Any ideas? I dont see any oil leaking, and I dont seem to be loosing any oil either.

Thanks,
Mattew

well i guess first of all,

have you been changing the weight of your oil?
have you been changing your oil filter every time you change your oil?
also possible that your guage isn't reading properly...

high oil pressure is usually caused by blockages within the passages...
IE: plugged oil filter, engine sludge, blocked pathway

where as low oil pressure is usually caused by things wearing out, in effect making passages larger.. IE, Bearlings wearing out..

if you haven't changed your oil weight, and you have been changing your oil filter.. then you should probably select your engine sludge removal technique (solvent)...

on a side note: never run pennzoil

Yes I have changed the oil every 3,500 miles (Castrol Synthetic blend) , and changed the oil filter (WIX) everytime.

How do I remove the sludge, Im sure there is alot in there. I am the third owner and have no idea how the car was taken care of before me.

Thanks,
Matthew

sorry i didn't get back to you....

you can buy engine sludge removal stuff at autozone i believe....

but most people would drain the oil, and replace it with 5qt of tranny fluid and run it like that for about a weekend.. and then drain it again replacing it with your normal motor oil
