Have a 99' Stang v6 of course. Just got it not too long ago, first car. I'm a 19 yr old college student so it comes to this...

Obviously i dont have the best paying job at my age but im trying to decide which to upgrade first? FR500 Rims 19" or probably going to go with the X pipe true dual exhausts, and if i have $$ left over, i'll go with the flowmasters.

What would yall do first? (Keep in mind, it will be a while for me to save up till i could do the other choice)

It depends. Do you want your car to look mean, or sound mean? If you're mostly about show and want your car to look good in pictures, get the wheels. If you love to impress people and actually give your car a small bit of performance and a great sound, get the exhaust. Personally, I would get the exhaust first. For me, wheels are one of the last things you do to a car and they pull the look together.

Get some 18" DD wheels, and do a decent suspension.

I say exhaust, but save up and do ALL the exhaust at once... (longtube headers, mid-pipe, mufflers, and tips). That's the only way your going to turn heads and get any noticeable gains with a v6 exhaust. People honestly think that I have a GT between 750 to about 2500 rpm. Another thing about the exhaust, an x-pipe makes the tone a lil more raspy and higher pitched, but I've seen a youtube vid of one with an x-pipe... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RATnnJ5R3A that sounds amazing (for a v6).

i did my exhaust first and actually liked it alone but the rims came shorltly after like in 4 months so .....

If you go DD, i would only do them on the back. Thats just me though. I personally would do the exhaust first. Rims are probably the last thing I'm goin to upgrade.

yea it was pretty much implied to get 18"DD just in the rear. Most of us prefer that.
