Thumbs up Split-Port Intake on 97...

Hey guys I have been thinking about getting a split-port inake for my car and I was wondering what all is needed to make the swap complete. Also is it possible just to do a straight swap from a 99-04 v6? Thanks in advance guys!

Well I have found a split port for $100 and just need to know what else is needed to make it work. SSM is not what I am really looking for at this time.

A little off topic, like I said I got s new rear end and it is supposed to be a gt rear end out of a 98... Well I tried to do a burn out and it still only spins the right wheel... Is this correct? Could there not be enough power to spin both wheels? Is there anyway to tell from the outside if it is infact a gt rear end?

Thanks!

Hmm well ****, it drives good and seems to have a bit more snap in acceleration. Is there anyway to measure the rearend to make sure it is a Gt rear?

You could measure right? Gt's have an 8.8 inch rear end and V6's have 7.5 inch. might be tough to measure though. I'm sure there is another way.
