Need some opinions; Custom X pipe Mac Headers
Found a guy whose willing to sell his new Mac Longtube Headers, and a custom X pipe for pretty good price, about 350$, i could probably haggle him a little to make it lower,(ive shopped around). I haven't bought exhaust parts before and i wanted to know what you guys thought.
Would these fit on my stock catalytic converters? (if i chose not to purchase new ones) Think it'd be worth it for me to buy them? Would i have to have sombody do weilding? I'm planning on getting Flowmaster 40's later on when i save enough $$ but i don't know if i should skip off on this deal.
editt;;
and i do know that its already a sweet deal on new mac longtubes haha, but i'm a college student ant $$ doesnt come by that easy >_<

Well to answer your question no that won't fit anything stock and to be honest I can't see much else since im on my phone but I wouldn't do o/r x with lt's on a 6er it would be too raspy since we already fight that problem IMO

Basically im asking if these are usable (with cats) lol. sorry if im making it difficult. eh

You will have to get high flow cats put on before the xpipe and you should pass emissions. None of that will fit anything on your exhaust now. After the xpipe looks like a gt catback might bolt up but not sure from picture. You could have a shop throw some duals on after the xpipe for like +-200. You should pass emissions with high flows, mustangman did in MA which has strict emissions. But +1 to the no xpipe on V6, tell him youll give him $200 for the lt's and take the other 150 and buy the MAC H pipe.

Whats the difference between H pipe and X pipe? Aren't True Dual X's supposedly "better"? not for v6? why?

Thats probably the best v6 i've ever heard.
Thats what i'm trying to make my car sound like. Eh. I dont know if it'd sound exactly like that with a Catted X pipe though.. (I'm probably going to get High flows if anything but it'd take a little longer)

mustangman02232 has hi-flows and his sounds great.
This is nearly exactly what mine sounds like, except it's a tad bit deeper because I have super 40s instead of regular 40s.....

An x ususaly works better with the V8 because of the firing order if I'm not mistaken. Our cars have an even firing order which means that one cylinder fires from each side at the same time so the exhaust pulses for lack of a better word come at the same time, so there is no need for an X where in a V8 the firing order is different and one cylinder will go before the other so the pulses come at a different time and the x helps scavanging. Not sure so some one correct me if I'm wrong please
