Default should i install a transgo shift kit?

i hear that if you have high mileage it shouldnt be done . should i ?

I did mine at about 80k miles. I dont see why not; as its replacing springs, solenoids, etc. with bigger ones. Id say if anything it would prolong the life of the tranny.

if anything a shift kit will improve tranny life, i say do it.

If thats aimed at me, no i actually just have it tuned and trango'd. thought about gettin the jmod, but never did.

i actually meant to say, you could also run the j-mod instead.

While your at it, get a tranny cooler. You can get a good one for under $100.

He doesnt have any more j-mods. Steven was not given back the stock valve bodies

oh that sucks. He was charging an arm and a leg for those cores I thought, just so people would HAVE to send them in.

hey i helped steven out with the windstar intakes setups. I am getting most of his parts for the kits as well. He has the plate for the j-mod just not the whole valve bodies
