That comment is as ignorant as saying tire cupping is only caused by bad suspension.... or that cut springs don't hurt a cars performance over springs made specifically for the job. Higher octane fuels keep build up minimal and help the engine from pinging as it gets older. Why? Because higher octane burns more completely since it is more volatile...

Did you do anything to the exhaust? If you did you may have an o2 sensor bad, dont forget there are 2 of them
