Default questions about the t-5 transmission

Ok, so ive been reading and i read that the t-45 can get messed up pretty bad if you power shift and isnt really built very strong, i also read that the internal shift stops are generally very weak thus the need for shift stops on the shifter. But im wondering if the t-5 has the same problems and if it would get torn up as easy.

also what are some of the things i should avoid with this transmission and some known problems.

The t-45 is supposed to be a beefed up t-5, so I don't know.

It's really not that bad of a tranny. The synchros tend to wear out around 70k miles, but that's about it for common issues.

95k miles, no synchro problems whatsoever yet, still original clutch for that matter too

yeah, ive just been really worried about my trans. it grinds going into second when im above 4000 rpms most of the time and its popped out of second a few times. and it also wouldnt go into third one time. So im changing the fluid and hoping that it will help resolve the issue and if it doesnt then i guess i'll have to get a rebuild, i hope synchros with an install are cheap

That's about when mine went out, it basically has to be rebuilt to replace the synchros. It's best to go ahead and upgrade them as well.

alright, im assuming it'll be too hard for me to replace the synchros so roughly how much would it cost. and i think my 2nd is the only one thats out. all the problems are with that gear only
