Default more exhaust questions

ive been doing more looking into it.i like to research these things before i go buying parts, especially dealing with exhaust parts.so ive been looking into the mid pipes, and i know i want the H not the X pipes cause i want a deep tone not a raspy tone.i was looking at getting a o/r H pipe but i read that it looses low end torque and depending on the amount of torque lost its not really worth it.so do i need to get a new catted H pipe or can a shop cut the piping behind the cats and fab up whats needed to fit the exhaust system? im looking for the setup that gives me the best sound with no power lose.im looking for a loud ,but not raspy, aggressive sound.is the power lose of an o/r mid pipe noticable?

X or H doesn't matter on a V6.
Offroad is a waste on mildly modded motors in our case.
Yes, you'll feel the loss of power going to an offroad set up.
Cheapest route is to have a shop cut behind your stock cats, and make a divorced dual exhaust set up from there.

longtubes, o/r H-pipe w/high flow cats welded in, two chambered mufflers (Flowmaster), and tips of your choice

Don't do dumps. It may be louder, but the drone will drive you insane after a while.

take it from me, i have dumps and the "drone" aint no joke its loud and rattles the seats like crazy but i love it, yes it's cheaper for dumps but it's not for everyone. so see if u can ride in a car with dumps first if your considering them
