Default transmission fluid/clutch issue

Not sure if this is the clutch cable/flywheel or the transmission fluid, but when I release the clutch it seems to make a sound as if you were pushing a piece of furniture on a wood floor.. Not a high pitched squeek, but it doesn't sound right and I don't want to let the problem have me on the side of the road one day..

Anyone ever hear that?

Sounds like your clutch is squeeking a little? Is it any different depending on how quickly you release it?

well the faster i release the clutch the more of a sound it'll make, but if im in a gear the sound is alot less noticable, not at all from 2nd gear+, but in 1st/R you can hear a small squeek if you drop it fast..

only when releasing the clutch though. sounds like theres not enough fluid allowing the clutch cable back?

There's no fluid involved, it's a cable clutch. Jack the car up and take off the inspection plate to see if there is anything odd looking.

JAck the car up and you'll see an aluminum box on the bellhousing, one 10mm wrench takes it off and you can shine a flashlight inside to look at everything

Could it be the TO bearing?
