I assumed everything was sealed and it would never need to be changed. Do any of you have tips on changing fluid? Type, quantity, how to change it? I've seen post about automatics, but not much about my car. Thanks!

Yeah just check your manual. Manual trans are pretty simple pull the drain clean the magnet and refill. Not much more than that most of the mustang manuals take between 3and 4 quarts depending on year and model but your owners manual can tell you exactly what you need and how much of it. The hardest part will be refilling most of the fill plugs are hard to get to and will require a pump from the parts store but they are cheap. And some others can be filled through the too by removing the shifter.
