Default Pacesetter longtubes

So someone over on V6power bought a set of pacesetter longtubes off summit and news to me, they do have the holes for the O2 sensors. Up until not everyone has been saying they don't. He ordered the 1999-2000 style however and I need the 2001-2004 (with egr I believe is the difference) and they make the style with and without egr, but I haven't talked to anyone with the 01-04 pacesetters. I just thought I would share with you guys. They are painted not ceramic coated but you can get them and two magnaflow high flow cats for the same price as mac's. Just throwing it out there. I hope to get them and the cats for the birthday coming soon. Anyone else care to verify.

I can't find them on their site. All I can find is the 01+ and without the EGR... got a link?

remember that they dont have any flanges on them from the factory. Its usually not a great idea to weld the mid pipe directly to the headers, what if the engine needs to be removed, ect. So if you want ball flanges on them factor in paying $160 from flow master ($80 for one flange set!)

If you have to pull the engine, you have more seriously problems then cutting a weld and re-welding the mid-pipe back to the headers, whats that like $50 tops. You can do it at home if you have a welder. Seriously, cut a little extra off then use a few extra inches of metal when you put them back on.

linky: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PSM-70-3221/ 3 inch collector, 1 5/8 inch primaries and fits the 01-04 model with EGR. Now with O2 sensor bungs, so I'm told.

Ik, but these are almost half the price and I can get them free as a birthday present. I'd have to chip in the extra like $170 for the Mac's which sucks because I'm in school with no job

The flange might not be a problem. See if you can use the flanges that connect your old headers to your cats.I used the ones on my cat side to connect my midpipe to my MACs so I assume that this would work for you.

The new high flows I'll be buying don't have flanges anyway. I'm going to have them welded on the h pipe before the crossover pipe.

I believe people normally put the cats right after the longtubes anyways. I was just giving you an option other than buying a new set of flanges. Cut off the old flanges between you stock shorties and your precats and reuse the.

For what its worth, I got my MAC LTs for $330 shipped from stangmods during a sale.. And they are the ceramac coated ones too.. And for flanges, you can get the mid-pipe side part of the flange from mac, a pair for 29.50. #SK25. it wont be listed on their site tho
