I have a ebay CAI that I paid $70 for and it came with a K&N filter and I think it works just as well as the $150-200 ones.
Go to a junk yard and pull the exhaust off a GT....

So really I don't need to change the piping of everything just more of the filter, for better flow and less restriction? So For Exhaust no Magnaflow or Borla? By the way it's just an average normal mustang not a GT or anything. hahah

Well your better off either geting gt take off exhaust or getting a shop to bend new pipes for exhaust than going with an online kit, either way it should be around $300-$400, and its cheaper to bring you own mufflers to a shop, just make sure you get the right size, and thrush welded series is good and cheap(thats what i have on my mustang) and i heard that summit racing mufflers off summit racing.com sounded good( there about $30 a piece) or you can get flowmasters.

if you want a good upgrade start, swap your clutch to a performance clutch, got mine at American Muscle, felt a great difference in torque

I know a shop that would let me do the tranny mod But yeah. I think What I will do is CAI and Exhaust. Maybe get a super 44 from Flowmaster and let a fab guy take care of the rest.

i did my clutch from jack stands. it's really not that hard as you think, the tricky part is aligning the clutch disc, but thats about it. it's time and work, but it's well worth it!
