Default Windstar / Fuel Pressure Sensor Options

I have seen that one way to deal with the fuel rail when installing the Windstar intake is to bend it so it doesn't interfere with the intake. I don't like the thought of bending such a critical part. I was wondering if maybe there was a different type of fuel sensor that might allow more room for the intake. Or maybe using the sensor and/or fuel rail from the Windstar.

Does anyone know of any other options for dealing with the fuel rail/fuel pressure sensor?

I just used an edge fuel rail i think.

Didn't i get my set up from you ryan?

nvm...i just remembered I sent a '00 and a '98 set of rails to SteveC over at 3.8mustang to have them "modded" together. It was like $100.

It's a good thing you remembered, because I can never remember who I sold stuff to or bought stuff from lol

I just bent mine. Works just fine, take your time and don't bend it too fast.

What did he do to mod them together?

What part of the intake does the rail/sensor hit? Do you think the intake could be filed down or something?

he took the return line from the '98 rail and fabbed it to the '00 rail (which you won't have to worry about), did some slight "adjustment to the shape, and added a different pressure regulator.
