Please correct me if this is in the wrong forum...It didn't seem to go anywhere else.

I am interested in the dimensions of the upgraded 2003/2004 seats that are taller. Can someone give me the vertical dimensions of the upgraded seats of the 2003/2004 mustang from the top surface of the seat pan (I think thats what it's called) to the top of the headrest?

This is the upgrade with the bigger headrests.

wait, so all you want is bigger headrests? i dont know if you can take them out but maybe just get ones from a wrecked 03 or 04 with the same interior color and put them in. im sure there isnt much difference in height. cant you just raise the ones you have up to your head or whatever height you want?

Even when I adjust the headrest as high as it will go, it is still way too short for me. It only has a vertical adjustment of about 2 inches. It doesn't provide much protection. I was hoping the upgraded seats would go higher.

i dont think you are going to get much more height out of them.

maybe go with a good aftermarket seat that is like this

Top of the 03/04 SVT seats is only about 2" higher than the stock V6/GT seats. I used to have them in my car.

The ones in 03shadow's post look like what I am looking for. I see they can tilt which is a nice extra adjustment. But how much vertical adjustment do those headrests have?

I love those leather-looking seats! Where do you get them? Are they covers? Sorry for dumping on this thread as well, but those look fantastic...can I get more pics?

the leathers in the 2nd pic arent covers. my seats came like that in mine if you really want them im sure you can find them around
