Default What do you think about my exhaust setup

I have an 01 v6 and I'm going to get true duals/divorced pipes catback exhaust with thrust welded mufflers because from the videos on youtube i've listened to imo they've sounded the loudest without sounding bad. and gt tips most likely.

What does everyone think about this and any comments/suggestions are welcome I'm open minded still

Yes you can, though you'll just have to get a shorter midpipe.

go MAC products. I'm not a fan of Thrush weldeds myself. I like MAC and Flowmasters. Borla are ok.

Default Exhaust help please

I would like to have my exhaust done, what is the best for my 97 3.8L? I would like it to have a little rumble without sounding bad.

Go to your local exhaust/muffler shop. Sometimes they have some good products and good prices for their products too. I got a straight pipe duals cat back for 400. With Mandrel Bent pipes, 4 in SS tips, piping down it was 2.25 and 2.5 im sure and it sounds good.

well you can spend 120 bucks, lmao, or spend 55 for the same exact sound, thrush welded series is identical to the flowmaster 40, i have thrush and they sound really good, id just go with the setup you said, i have the exact same and get compliements all the time, with longtubes its gonna sound better but its a whole lot more expensive, my exhaust cost me about 300, its gonna be more like 1000 with longtubes...
