If you're doing Coilovers, then do adjustable, you'll be happy you spent the extra money.

It's like buying a $100,000 car, but trying to save money by getting 4 donuts instead of the regular wheels.

Oh, well then yeah, I wouldn't worry about the adjustable control arms right now

Hey sorry I don't know if you've covered this in your thread yet.. but in the original post you asked about the ride quality difference between the tokico and bilstein struts? Well I have nonadjustable Tokico HP shocks and struts installed and the ride quality is very harsh. The smallest bump rocks the car like a boat, though the handling on smooth roads is fantastic. Just thought I'd throw my personal experience with the product out there.

thanks man! i figured it would be a rough ride either way but i was just going to go for the better of the two ride quality wise. Id suspect that there isnt much of a difference, but ill try the tokico and see what i think

From what I've heard, I thought QA-1 had the original tubular setup for these cars. I was told that Roush and MM and the likes borrowed their design for tubular suspension. I was also planning on doing some suspension work this winter Shadow. I had a little bit of a different idea though. I was just going to do springs/shocks in the front and adjustable coilovers in the rear and polyurethane bushings. I would do a complete makeover like yours, but I hope to pay a little more attention to the brakes before getting into control arms and such

yeah brakes will eventually come for mine too. i would be doing them too but my pads are like brand new so i dont feel like wasting money getting a whole new brake set up, when my pads are dead then the brakes will come, or when a m112 comes then brakes will come too but i wouldnt mind doing less of suspension but i want to get a good set up the first time, plus ill be getting an 8.8 so ill do the rear suspension at the same time

^^ same plan with the 8.8... Looks like brakes will be coming sooner than I thought though, brakes are completely shot again... read the post.
