(Lowest being a 2+0 5spd slicktop, highest being a TT Auto with T-tops, in Japan there was of course the 2+2TT which was even more.)

My wife's 93' was about 3400lbs (2+2 Auto, T-Top w/ bose unit and leather)

I guess that's why 4cyl swaps in Japan were so popular.

The VG30DETT is a freakishly heavy V6 coming in at 610lbs.
Thats a fully dressed motor with pre-cats and turbo's.

What in the world does stock mean!?!?!?! I've always wanted to swap an RB but, the sr is keeping me happy :P

lol, yeah its hard to buy stock any more with Z cars and 240's being around for so long.

Heck even Aprils Z had a slight drop, mufflers and tips when she bought it and the guy was a business guy that really didnt care about mods.

The VG30DE leaves much to be desired for such a heavy engine.

I love the sound of the RB26DETT, cant get much closer to a race motor there.
From what I have read though its a bitch of a swap and expensive. x_x

Which SR you runnin?
When you swap to the RB are you going to go with a single turbo or say ****it to clearance issues and bend/break some ****?

Still cant find wheels. >:[

I thought I found a set down in Bentonville AR but when he sent pics they were just knock off Mach 1's. He said they were Ford OEM 00R's. bleh.

My only other option is to buy a complet 120k mile black 00' GT with a blown motor for $2500.... Yeah if I put another motor in I could make some cash but I already have too many projects sitting around.

Sucks he just wont sell the wheels.

Black top Sr, going to go twin with the RB, its not hard they make a manifold for it.... Its not that bad of a swap actually you can do it pretty cheap if you think about it.

Though I'd bump this with more pricing info.

Since Roush no longer sells them and Stage 3 Motorsports is out of stock, JC Whitney has this set up listed for $3,400 with the original 1 pc front rotors.

Thats a bit of a sticker shock, JCWhitney always seemed high BUT I saw just the fronts down in the corner for just $1,378!
A Rear 13" BB Kit can be put together cheaply from several places like FTBR.
FTBR's 2pc rotor 13" RBBK is only $750 for IRS.
Steeda's 1pc Baer 13" RBBK is only $300 dollars for SRA.

I am sorry Ford Racing (00R $1200 @ Summit), but I think I would prefer the Roush 14" BB kit at that price!

$868 for Calipers alone!

Awesome find Matt, I did not know these were still for sale anywhere!

It would be nice if Stage 3 put their old kits together again.

Yeah, the only reason I found it is b/c I was considering putting my set up for sale and wanted to see what current going rates where for them.
