Default 4.10 gears or J-mod???

I already have 3.73 gears, but I'm wondering which one would make my car a little more fun to drive???

Your going to be able to notice them both. But since you got 3.73's i'd go j-mod unless your planning on doing the swap yourself, then i'd say 4.10's.

JMod is the better option at this point and its cheaper.
Why not get gears next month after you do the JMod?

You should also think about an external cooler for the trans too and a temp sending unit so you can keep an eye on your temps. Of course do a complete flush too.

do you have a LSD with the gears? IMO a jump from 3.73 to 4.10 isnt really worth it.

A jmod would be the better option, there is minimal difference between 3.73 and 4.10 gears in the 1/4 mile. Some people have actually run slower with 4.10s (one of our mods included) because of severe traction problems.

Yes, I actually have an 8.8 rear end. Thanks for the opinions. The gears would be kind of pricey considering I'm not doing the install myself. Do I have to send my valve body off or can I buy one somewhere?

You can either send yours in or send a used one in so your Mustang isnt down.

VAP doesnt have any in stock so you cant just order one.
